Surface treatment - plating
Plating supplier has faced challenges from enviroment policies whiche is globally. A lot of plating suppliers close. The plating supplier which are not closed are running their busy business. Because of the balance of demand and supply, the price of plating is getting higher and higher.
Spring design
Springs get tangled to each other. Before packing, sometimes we need to untangle the springs without getting them transformed. It is an extra cost of human power and the risk of transforming the springs.
Heat treatment
To make sure the lifetime and hardness of the metal part, heat treatment (stress relief) is a MUST. However, dimensions change after heat treatment.
The matching part
The spring is usually the first priority of dimensions modification when the designer finds the original design is not workable because spring is usually the smallest, the cheapeast, and the easiset one to get modified.
